u know, 1 of my favourite albums of theirs is “To the faithful departed”, and there’s a song called “Sarajevo”…it struck me the other day how little i actually know – how little i’ve made an effort 2 find out.
Cos i know there was a war of some kind in the former Balkans, and Sarajevo was one of the areas in the middle of the war – but i haven’t ever read up on what actually happened….
i’ve had me eyes closed for a long time.
