Lockdown has given me plenty of opportunity to walk within the safety of our complex – never worrying about the dangers of the outside world, where fear of contamination stalks us, and it sometimes feels like a zombie movie: everyone walking around with masks and keeping their distance (the latter of which suits me perfectly).
And once more, I’m extremely grateful for the home environment I have – the likes of which I know that many others do not. Here are some shots from my walks in recent weeks.
And if you’ve also been walking close to home, I encourage you to share your shots with me (via whatever medium you use…post a link in the comments).
There’s beauty all around us – even in the tiniest details. All we have to do is look closely enough – with eyes and hearts that are open to seeing beyond our routines…
Beautiful! Thank you.
Thank you. Your Summer shots will likely be amazing too.
Isn’t it crazy that we had to go through a government imposed lockdown in order to appreciate what’s right in front of us?
I don’t think I was unaware before…but I definitely didn’t walk as much. So this lockdown has reminded me that I need to do more of that…make time for it – even if things return to ‘normal’.
Love the photography
