Very entertaining and interesting blog once again, Yacoob. On the entertaining side, I especially liked “Adventure Before Dementia” and “Sweat Is Just Fat Crying” :). On the interesting side — have you ever been to southern California? Cape Town reminds me of it a bit because you have the ocean, the mountains and some desert-like geography all in the same place. I have not seen that much outside of southern California. You live in a very picturesque corner of the world
Thanks, Vance. Yes. I’ve been to LA twice, with the second time being part of a West Coast tour which trekked through Arizona, Las Vegas, then up to San Francisco, Monterey ,Yosemite, etc. Can’t say I remember that much as it was a long time ago, but San Francisco especially felt a lot like Cape Town.
